Membership to the Queensland Arboricultural Association Inc.
The Queensland Arboricultural Association (QAA) is one of Australia's most active state based non-profit organisations. Through the constitution, the QAA seeks to promote the following benefits for its members and the industry:

Being a member means you are willing to bring your work practices in line with the Australian Standards AS43 73, work to a code of practices and follow the QAA Code of Ethics.
By joining the QAA, you are entitled to a wide range of benefits that we provide for you.
Starting with your advertising, you will receive a computer disk with the QAA logo on it which entitles you to use our logo on your business cards, newspaper adverts & in the phone book. We will also send you two stickers, which are great to put on your equipment e.g. Trucks, chippers and any other equipment that is going to catch the publics eye. As we all know when you are a member of an association you look more professional & your work is to a standard that usually stands out from the rest.
An annual subscription to the Arborage a BI monthly industry magazine which automatically rolls over into every New Year that you are a member.

During the year we also hold a number of Workshops which vary from first aid, climbing days, chainsaw levels, electrical awareness and a number of other beneficial days connected to the Arboricultural industry all of which are discounted for members.
The main attraction for the year would have to be our climbing competition held in different areas over SouthEast Queensland combined with exhibits from the aboricultral industry. This draws a number of competitors and also a keen following of spectators. As well as a great opportunity to see new equipment.

QAA is the largest Arboricultral Association in Australia and we are happy for all those that wish to join to make it stronger for the benefit of all.
